I love WordPress for being a web CMS, and I love to use it with WPBakery. Compared with Gutenberg and any other advanced WYSWYG editor, WPBakery much more flexibility and plugins available – at least for me.
For WPBakery, you can always switch to tag based if need to. This feature come in handy, when you some how make some mistake, and caused the layout no longer editable.
These steps will tell you what to do when WPBakery suddenly not able to edit the layout, we get OpenAI ChatGPT to help:
1. On the Post or Page, click on the Backend Editor, then select the “Text” tab.
2. You shall see a bunch of scary code over here, this is the beauty of it. You can repair from here. Of course, we will not do it ourselve, we get OpenAI ChatGPT to do it.
3. Copy the code, and paste into ChatGPT. The prompt will be:
Repair the code for WordPress WPBakery: {{YOUR CODE}}
4. ChatGPT shall return a repaired code immediately. Once you got the code, copy it, and paste it back to Post/Page editor, under the “Text” tab of course.
5. Click the Backend Editor again, it shall go back to WPBakery UI/UX editor. You should be able to continue to edit the layout now.
6. It may not be 100% fixed, but at least it is editable again.
